Here at Horsehaven Stables we require everyone to wear an approved equestrian riding helmet. For all new students we will provide one until they purchase their own.

While "SAFETY FIRST" is our mission statement, always wearing an approved helmet is the first priority to achieve this. Solange was recently featured in a Medina County Gazette article which explained her platform of the importance of always wearing an approved helmet.

One would think this is automatically done in all riding disciplines, especially when children are involved. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Even as we learn of the statistics of those injured while riding without a helmet, we still see children featured in popular horse magazines riding without one. Old habits and fashions are the cause for this in the Western world and even in such highly regarded disciplines as Dressage and Saddleseat.
