Here are our current lesson horses. Solange has spent considerable time with each of these horses and they are a great way to learn how to ride.

King Arthur had been a willing an athletic partner to Solange for many years. They have competed successfully in several Hunter Trials and Hunter Paces as well as riding first field every hunt season. Arthur's natural talent and stoic personality allows him to be used occasionally in lessons with our most advanced and adventurous students.

Poptart
Poptart is the best kind of all round pony! She is calm and sweet for our littlest of students while at the same time doesn't mind going for a good canter with our more intermediate riders. Poptart enjoys going for trailrides too. And, don't forget she's also our Party Pony! She is a sturdy draft type pony with beautiful brown spots and a blue eye. Horsehaven couldn't be happier to give her a forever home!

Max is a wonderful appendix quarter horse who is a solid beginner horse for new students in the barn and a perfect intermediate mount for our more advanced students who ride outside. Besides lessons, he also foxhunts and trailrides in his classical style. A gentle soul with a big heart and kind disposition makes us thrilled to add him to our lesson program.

A sturdy sweet-tempered 14 yr. old Quarterhorse with a pie bald face and one blue eye, he will steal your heart. Leo is be a solid beginner and intermediate mount for our lucky students who love to trail ride and fox hunt. Next time you come to the barn, don't forget a treat for him!

No one can be happier than Solange to introduce Madison Valley, her very first horse into the lesson program! This graceful 16 year old American Saddlebred mare has proven to be a wonderful and fun mount for advanced students to jump, trailride and foxhunt.
