We do not offer trail riding to the general public.
We only offer trail riding to our current students enrolled in our lesson program once they have reached and proven a certain level of riding capability in our indoor arena. This is due to insurance and liability issues.
When we are not Fox hunting, we do trail riding. We are very fortunate to have many bridle trail systems within a short drive of our stables, courtesy of the Cleveland Metroparks system. The Hinckley Reservation is our closest at less than a mile a way and where you’ll find us most weekend and the occasional weekday mornings!
As well as trail riding, for those that are interested we take part in other hunt related activities. This includes taking part in many of the Hunter Paces that are organized in the area, both with the Rocky Fork Headley Hunt, the Sewickley Hunt and also by those not associated with a particular hunt such as the nearby Bath Pony Club and Stonegate Farm. You can find more information on some of the Hunter Paces we attend at the North East Ohio Mini Trial Association website.
Lastly, for our more advanced riders we offer the ability to go to one of several Cross Country schooling courses in the area on one of our, or in some cases one of your own horses. This has proven to be very popular and a lot of fun, especially in helping both riders (and horses alike!) who wish to jump and overcome obstacles you might come across in the hunt field.
